Frikkie is the financial director of Steinhoff International and was
appointed to the board in 1998.
At his appointment in 1998, Frikkie also acted as company
secretary for the group. After serving as an accountant with
a private company, he joined Gommagomma Holdings Proprietary
Limited (now Steinhoff Africa Holdings Proprietary Limited) as financial
manager in 1989, becoming financial director in 1990. He qualified as
a chartered accountant in 1993. |
